Six legs instead of the usual four, each turned into the same stacked, swelling profile you’d see on a chess piece scaled up to furniture size, carry a top that runs 500 cm from end to end. At 110 cm deep, it’s not just longer than a standard dining table, it’s proportioned differently altogether, closer to a great hall table than anything sized for a household room.

This is the largest table in our turned-leg family, and the extra pair of legs isn’t decorative. A top this long, in solid jointed reclaimed teak, needs the additional support past what four legs can carry without sagging over time. The finish is Cocoa Brown, the darkest of our indoor tones, closer to the color of the bean itself than to standard teak honey.

Part of a family, not a one-off

If the leg silhouette looks familiar, it’s related to our Entasi Table, which uses the same stacked, sculptural turning at a smaller 458 cm scale in a lighter Natural finish. The Monarch is the larger, darker sibling: more legs, more depth, more length, for the projects where even the Entasi’s four and a half meters isn’t enough table.

Underneath both, it’s the same reclaimed teak: timber recovered from demolished structures across Indonesia rather than cut new for the order. At 500 cm, the top is built from multiple reclaimed boards jointed edge to edge, since no single piece of reclaimed material runs that length, and the legs are solid turned teak rather than built up from smaller pieces. Length and depth adjust to fit the room, and the six-leg spacing gets recalculated for whatever final length a project needs rather than simply stretched from a fixed template. Finish tone can also shift lighter or darker than Cocoa Brown if a project’s material palette calls for it.
