Reclaimed teak is uniquely suited to outdoor hospitality use: the timber has already completed decades of natural movement and drying in its prior life as structural building material, giving it superior dimensional stability compared to new-growth teak when exposed to sun, rain, and humidity swings. Every piece is finished for outdoor service:
Every batch of reclaimed teak entering our factory in Semarang is salvaged from decommissioned houses, warehouses, and dismantled boats across Java — structural timber felled decades ago, long before it reaches us, so no living forest is cut to produce it. Teak (Tectona grandis) is prized for outdoor furniture because of its natural oil content and tight grain, and reclaimed stock has an advantage new-growth timber cannot match: it has already weathered decades of humidity cycles inside its original structure, so it arrives pre-stabilized rather than needing years of outdoor acclimatization.
Before it reaches our workshop floor, each batch is graded by hand for structural soundness, sorted by density and grain, and kiln-dried to a controlled 12–15% moisture content. Timber with active rot, insect damage, or excessive nail and bolt scarring is rejected at intake rather than filled and hidden — a standard applied consistently across our outdoor and indoor ranges alike. This grading discipline is what allows us to offer a wholesale product built for permanent outdoor hospitality use, not a decorative reclaimed-wood finish over a shorter-lived frame.

Yes. Reclaimed teak has already undergone decades of natural drying and movement in its prior structural life, which makes it more dimensionally stable outdoors than new-growth teak. Combined with mortise-and-tenon joinery and a marine-grade oil finish, it is well suited to permanent outdoor hospitality use.
Teak’s natural oils mean it can be left untreated to weather to a silver-grey patina, or re-oiled periodically to maintain its original honey-brown tone. Either finish is durable outdoors — the choice is aesthetic, not a durability requirement.
Reclaimed teak is salvaged from decommissioned structures, so no new trees are felled to produce it, and the timber is typically denser due to age. Plantation teak is newer-growth, replanted timber — we offer it only where a specification requires it. Our core outdoor range is 100% reclaimed.
Standard MOQ is 20 units per SKU, with mixed-SKU orders accepted for hospitality project orders that meet a minimum container volume. Contact our export team with your furniture schedule to confirm.
